Tubes
Somehow, the building of the 'nu-school' RCA in 1962 was not anticipated by the nineteenth-century planners of London's Underground network, and we do not have our own tube stop. But here are the nearest:

South Kensington –Circle, District and Piccadilly lines 10 mins walk along Exhibition Road past the V&A.

Gloucester Road – Circle, Distict and Piccadilly linesNextdoor stop to South Kensington. Pleasant 10 mins walk along Gloucester Road and Queen's Gate to College.

High Street Kensington – Circle and District lines 10 mins stroll alongside Kensington Gardens to college or take the bus (9,10 or 52).

Knightsbridge – Piccadilly line pleasant 15 mins walk alongside Hyde park, or take buses 9, 10 or 52 which stop right outside college.

Lancaster Gate – Central line 10 mins walk straight across Kensington Gardens.

Buses
Buses can be pretty infuriating in the rush hour, but thanks to Mayor Ken, they are becoming a lot more efficient, reliable and affordable. If in doubt, ask the conductor if they stop at Royal Albert Hall – the best local landmark for directions. Bus journeys cost £1.20 and night bus fares are the same as day fares.
